'Enduring a Horrific Ordeal': Families of Missing Teenagers Desperately Seek Answers After Ski Resort Blaze
The relatives of young people lost after a tragic inferno at a establishment in a Switzerland's ski resort are facing an excruciating wait for confirmed information and pleading for any details about their family members online.
The inferno engulfed the a popular bar in Cans-Montana, located in the mountains of the Valais region, in the small hours of January 1st. Circulated video show the ceiling catching alight as bottles with fireworks are held aloft.
Emergency services have warned that it could take days if not weeks to formally name the fatalities of the disaster, which killed four dozen individuals and wounded another scores more. Authorities noted on Friday that the majority of the those hurt have been accounted for, with work ongoing to locate the other six.
In the waiting period, loved ones have been using social media to appeal for information about their loved ones who were present at the venue that night.
Heartbreaking Pleas for the Missing
The fate of Swiss national Arthur Brodard, a teenager, are not yet determined, according to an public plea from his family.

The national sporting body has stated that he is dead, without mentioning the tragedy, honoring a "talented young man who carried with him dedication and true sportsmanship."
His father, is quoted as saying that his son was at the bar and was last in contact around the new year. An official spokesperson has stated that a formal confirmation of his death is still pending.
Further Missing Individuals
Giovanni Tamburi, sixteen, is likewise unaccounted for. His mother explained that he had been on vacation but had gone out with friends and ended up at the venue.
