Administration Denounces 'Democrat Fabrication' as Additional Jeffrey Epstein Photos Released
House Democrats have published a additional set of what they described as "troubling" pictures from the estate of adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, depicting notably Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and ex-UK prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
The first release of 19 images—some of which have been seen before—combined with another 70 unveiled later on Friday account for a tiny fraction of the almost 100,000 images handed over to the House investigative panel, which is examining the actions and ties of Epstein.
The shamed investor was a victim of apparent suicide in a New York jail cell in 2019 after being indicted on sex-trafficking offenses.
Prominent Personalities in the Images
Featured among the high-profile individuals shown in the opening set are public figures including film director Woody Allen; Microsoft creator Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, creator of the Virgin business group.
Donald Trump appears in three of the initial 19 images. In one, he is seen with six women, whose faces are obscured.
White House Response
The White House responded to the release in a official comment, accusing Democrats of purposefully "cherry-picking" the images for political purposes and to "try and create a false narrative."
"That partisan falsehood against President Trump has been time and again refuted," an administration official stated, insisting that "this presidency has accomplished more for Epstein's victims than Democrats have ever done by repeatedly calling for openness, releasing reams of papers, and calling for more inquiries into Epstein's Democrat friends."
Panel Member Statement
The photos were released lacking captions, but according to a Democratic representative from California and senior member of the oversight committee, they prompt further inquiries about Epstein's associations with wealthy individuals.
"Now is the occasion to stop this White House cover-up and deliver justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his influential associates," he declared in a comment.
The publication of these materials comes as the oversight committee continuing its probe into the affair.
